As a Lafayette native, Dr. Thibodeaux is thrilled to return to her hometown to provide quality care in the field of periodontics. Dr. Thibodeaux graduated from Saint Thomas More High School in 2013. She then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. She then enjoyed spending time in New Orleans, while completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery training, graduating in May of 2021. While in dental school she felt a strong compulsion towards the field of periodontics due to its focus on preventative dentistry. She was honored to earn acceptance into the Periodontics program at the same institution, where she achieved her Masters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Periodontics in 2024. During her training, she developed the surgical skill set necessary to help her patients improve their oral health and attain their desired smiles. She enjoys helping her patients strive to meet their goals on a daily basis through treatment of periodontal disease, gum esthetic surgery, and dental implant therapy. While in dental school, Dr. Thibodeaux met and married her husband, Dr. Chase Toland. Since returning home, they have enjoyed exploring all of the activities that Lafayette has to offer. When she is not helping patients, she enjoys spending her time with their three pups (Remi, Reese, and Boston), friends and family, hitting the restaurant scene in true "foodie" fashion, and going on new travel experiences. Dr. Thibodeaux is truly excited to return to Lafayette and is honored for the opportunity to give back to the community that raised her through service in the field of dentistry
